I love my stainless steel appliances, but what I don’t love is the fingerprints and smudge marks. Having a toddler doesn’t help with this problem, since she’s constantly touching our fridge and dishwasher. I think I have tried at least 10 products; from chemicals to natural options, but nothing seems to clean the stainless steel.

I honestly had given up on cleaning my stainless steel, but while I was at my local Kroger grocery store (Ralph’s) I wandered the cleaning aisle to try one last time. I ended up finding the Pledge^® Multi Surface Everyday Cleaner with Glade^® Rainshower^®.

I picked up both the Pledge^® Multi Surface Everyday Cleaner with Glade^® Rainshower^® and the Pledge^® Lemon Clean Furniture Spray. Both are okay to use on stainless steel along with wood, laminate, leather, marble, granite and plastic.

When I got home I took a clean rag and the Pledge^® Multi Surface Everyday Cleaner with Glade^® Rainshower^® and got to cleaning. I first started with my dishwasher.

You can see how dirty it gets. My daughter leaves fingerprints all over it plus we normally keep a dish towel to dry our hands thus so many streaks and drip marks.

I decided to spray the cleaner directly onto my rag. Make sure to follow the directions on the bottles. Then I started cleaning.
